Additional Comments

A high-speed solar wind stream from a coronal hole is expected to arrive during the first forecast period. Currently geomagnetic conditions are quiet, but this could increase to ACTIVE to STORM G1 after the onset of this high-speed stream.
At least two coronal mass ejections (CME) are expected to arrive on the 28th August. The bulk of the CMEs may be deflected away from Earth; however, a glancing blow may result in further geomagnetic activity, with the potential to reach STORM G1 to STORM G2 levels. This disturbance may continue into the third forecast period depending on the strength and duration of the CME impact.
